Get your film fix in August

August is THE month to head south and get your fix of films at the 2015 CinefestOz Film Festival, from August 26th to 30th.

This year’s line up includes a record 68 events at venues dotted across the South-West, from Bunbury to Augusta, including a total of 82 Australian and French feature films, documentaries and short films.

There will be gala film evenings, winery lunches, short film side-bar screenings, family events and free community screenings.

Australian actor Hugo Weaving (pictured) will be the recipient of the festival’s Screen Legend Award this year. Previous recipients include Jack Thompson, Bryan Brown, David Wenham and filmmaker Fred Schepisi.
